One great way to add little personal touches to your wedding and make your guests feel included is to personalize your reception tables. The best part is that it doesn’t cost much,
but will make your wedding feel truly yours!
A very endearing way is to display photos in picture frames that you can purchase in bulk at some of your favorite local super stores. It isn’t hard to find gorgeous
frames that fit your theme perfectly! Choose photos of your favorite destinations that you and your fiancé share or photos of the two of you at past events, from
childhood through your courtship. They could even be pictures of the major cities that your wedding guests are coming from or even simply destinations you and your
fiancé plan to voyage to!
A lovely way to honor your guests is to pre-make small corsages and boutonnieres to place on each table, with each guest’s name printed on place cards next
to them. Not only will this make your guests feel pampered, but it will give an extra little boost of lavishness to the mood of your special day.
Personalize your tables by making scrapbooks with pictures of the guests at each table and have a notes page where everyone can write fun messages for you.
Now all of your guests are involved in writing your guestbook! This will take some initial leg work to be sure that you have everyone’s pictures in the collages
but the pleasure of looking back into the books years into the future will be well worth it.
A very inexpensive way to personalize your wedding tables is to decorate the names of your guests on seashells or stones as souvenirs of the occasion. This
would work wonderfully with a sea side soirée. All it costs you is the time it takes to bring your loyal bridesmaids to the beach to pick up beautiful flat
stones or large shells to bring home in abundance. Then go to the arts and crafts store to pick up a paint color that matches your wedding colors and write
your guests’ names on the shells and stones. For an artful centerpiece, you could get a clear dish centered with a lovely candle in water surrounded by the
shells and stones as well as some plain shiny stones and glass bubbles as accents. It would look so personalized and would show your guests that you really
appreciate their presence on your big day.
There are so many wonderful ways that you can inexpensively and creatively personalize your wedding. So let the creative juices run, be sure to utilize your
beloved bridesmaids, and have fun planning the wedding of your dreams! Happy crafting!
