Half Back
This style is a wonderful way to wear your hair off your face but still show off your length. Half back can be interpreted in several ways, the classic sweet ingenue, stylish, sophisticated and straight or goddess-like unfussy waves. There are no limits on this prectical and yet versatile hairstyle. It is versatile and functional as a clever way to anchor a heavy veil and still get the look of long hair.
Long and Down
Wearing your hair down is a lovely choice and can look perfect in several settings! Big, sexy waves are fabulous if you want that glamorous old Hollywood look at a Formal Affair but they can be interpreted wonderfully for the Seaside Soiree if you want to embrace a more casual relaxed look. At a Cosmopolitan Affair you can rock that ceramic straightener and exude pure sophistication. The "long and down" look is great for anyone who feels her best with her locks loose and free! Be sure that your length does not detract from any details of your dress or jewelry… you wouldn’t want to hide any special details!
The Updo
An updo is appropriate for a formal wedding. Wearing your hair up is perfect if you have a very ornate dress or jewelry you would like to accentuate. Another reason to wear an updo is that you have always pictured your "Big Day" hair that way!! For brides-to-be with chin length tresses that may be difficult to sweep up, consider hair extensions. Just remember, when planning with your hair stylist, be sure to make sure that your updo can support your veil as well as any major dance moves you plan on demonstrating that day!
Hair Jewels
Any hairstyle can be accentuated with accessories! There are so many other ways to adorn the crown of a bride than her veil. Tiaras, combs, pins and barrettes can all add something extra to make your hair for your Big Day SPECTACULAR!
